Declaration and Authorisation

I, a User (“I”, “me” or “my”) who has subscribed to SafeTrip+ (as defined in the SafeTrip+ terms and conditions), and/or all eligible passengers (“we”, “us” or “our”) who are entitled to be insured (“Insured Persons”) under the Gojek Personal Accident Cover Group Insurance Policy (“Group Policy”), herein and hereby warrant that:

I / we agree and / or authorize Go Viet Technology Trading Joint Stock Company and/ or Go Car Technology Company Limited (“Gojek”) to purchase the Group Policy for the benefits of me and/or us.

I / we confirm that I / we agree to the terms and conditions of SafeTrip+, which creates a contractual relationship between Gojek and me / us, under which Gojek has purchased the Group Policy for the benefits of me and/ or us. To the extent that I am / we are required to provide any information under the Group Policy, I / we declare that such information is true, accurate and complete. If any such information is untrue, inaccurate or incomplete, I / we understand that the Group Policy may be void.

I / we understand and confirm that in order to be eligible under the Group Policy, the Insured Person(s) must be between 15 days to 70 years old.

I am / we are aware of and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the Group Policy documentation (including the wording and certificate of insurance).

I / we understand and agree that I am / we are advised to read all the exclusion clauses in the Group Policy, and I / we understand that where an exclusion applies, I / we will not receive coverage under the Group Policy.

I / we understand and agree that where a third-party credit card is used to purchase the Group Policy, the relevant cardholder has authorized and consented to its use.

I / we agree and authorize AIG Vietnam Insurance Company Limited (“AIG Vietnam”) to approach and obtain from any medical source (including hospitals and clinics), insurance companies or any other relevant organization any information concerning me / us, if required.

I / we understand and agree that AIG Vietnam collects and records my/ our personal data to provide, manage, develop and offer me / us insurance products and services. To achieve this, AIG Vietnam may disclose my/ our personal data to appropriate third parties in or outside Vietnam, including service providers and AIG Vietnam’s affiliates, and therefore, I / we consent to AIG Vietnam using and disclosing my/ our personal data in this way.

SafeTrip+ Terms and Conditions

SafeTrip+ is an optional program made available to you by Gojek which entitles you to a voucher of VND20,000 (“Late Pickup Voucher”) if the Driver arrives at least ten (10) minutes after the estimated time of arrival, provided that (i) you opt into the SafeTrip+ program when you request and book for Transportation Services; and (ii) you complete the trip with the Driver.

Upon your opt-in to SafeTrip+, SafeTrip+ will be activated and a SafeTrip+ fee of VND 2,000 (“SafeTrip+ Fee”) will be charged for each eligible trip until you opt-out. SafeTrip+ will automatically be activated for your subsequent eligible trips and the SafeTrip+ Fee will automatically be charged for each of your subsequent eligible trips.

SafeTrip+ benefits are only available to you if, at the time of booking a trip: a) you have an active SafeTrip+ subscription; and b) the trip fulfills the eligibility criteria. A SafeTrip+ Fee will not be charged if the ride is ineligible for SafeTrip+.

By opting into SafeTrip+, you will also be entitled to personal accident cover under the Gojek Personal Accident Cover Group Insurance Policy (“Group Policy”) held by Go Viet Technology Trading Joint Stock Company and/ or Go Car Technology Company Limited and underwritten by AIG Vietnam Insurance Company Limited.

You acknowledge that SafeTrip+ is not and shall not be deemed an insurance product. The additional personal accident insurance coverage that you enjoy under SafeTrip+ is a Group Policy underwritten by AIG Vietnam Insurance Company Limited and brokered through Marsh (Vietnam) Ltd. The Group Policy is paid for by Go Viet Technology Trading Joint Stock Company and/or Go Car Technology Company Limited (trading and referred to in these terms and conditions as “Gojek”) as the policyholder. Please note that Gojek:

1. will not, at any time, provide any sales or product advice to you on the Group Policy or answer any questions from you seeking to interpret the coverage, benefits, exclusions or any language in relation to any information or the policy, terms and conditions relating to the Group Policy;
2. will not advise you on any issues or questions relating to claims on the Group Policy; and
3. will not handle any feedback or complaints from you relating to the Group Policy. 

If you opt-out of SafeTrip+ or do not fulfill the eligibility criteria required to use SafeTrip+, you will not be entitled to the Late Pickup Voucher and your coverage under the Group Policy shall cease automatically.

The Late Pickup Voucher is strictly valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issuance and cannot be sold or be exchanged for cash. 

To the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law, Gojek shall not be liable for any claim, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your opt-in to SafeTrip+.

SafeTrip+ may be modified or withdrawn by Gojek at any time without prior notice to you.

By opting in, you hereby give consent to AIG Vietnam Insurance Company Limited and Gojek, including their third-party service providers to collect, use and disclose your information for processing and for the purposes described in AIG’s Privacy Policy and Gojek’s Privacy Notice.

By opting in, you hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions of SafeTrip+ and the Group Policy.
