Be Responsible During Your Trip with GoRide & GoCar: Ways To Prevent Coronavirus (COVID-19) Transmission
Gojek · 26 Jun 2020

Hi Gojekers,

Health and safety are Gojek’s main priorities. In line with the Ministry of Health’s recommendations, Gojek has put in place numbers of initiatives to continue delivering maximum protection for everyone in our ecosystem. Therefore, we are implementing the J3K protocol (Stay Healthy, Hygienic and Protected) as a step forward to make your trip safer and more pleasant.

Starting 8 June 2020, in DKI Jakarta, GoRide will resume its operation in the green and yellow zones. In the red zone areas, GoRide will remain inactive. Clickherefor more information.

Starting 15 June, in Surabaya, GoRide will resume its operation in the green and blue zone. In the red zone areas, GoRide will remain inactive. Clickherefor more information.

GoRide and GoCar’s Passenger Guide to Prevent COVID-19

Keep calm and be responsible during your GoRide trip:

  • Bring your own helmet. We recommend you to use a full-face helmet with SNI Standardization.
  • Always prepare a hand sanitizer.
  • It is mandatory to wear a mask during your entire trip.
  • It is highly recommended to wear hand gloves during the trip.
  • If you are using our driver partner’s helmet, please ensure to sanitize your hand with hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol before putting on and after taking off the helmet.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow when coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching your face during the trip.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after getting off of the vehicle.
  • Opt for cashless payment such as GoPay, credit card or debit card as much as possible to minimize contact with others.

Keep calm and be responsible during your GoCar trip:

  • It is mandatory to wear a mask during your entire trip.
  • Keep your hands clean with hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol, before and after touching the car’s door handle.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow when sneezing/coughing.
  • Do not dispose of used masks, tissues and others inside the car.
  • Avoid touching your face during the trip.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after getting off the vehicle.
  • Opt for cashless payments such as GoPay, credit card or debit card as much as possible to minimize contact with others.

Gojek has also established procedures that prioritize hygiene and health in GoRide and GoCar services. We require driver-partners to use masks, gloves and hand sanitizers as part of the trip preconditions, in compliance with government regulations. If either passengers or driver-partners are not wearing masks, the other party has the right to cancel the order and is welcome to report the incident through the Gojek app.

By implementing the J3K protocol together, #ThereIsAlwaysAWay to make life safer and more enjoyable.
