Gojek customers to enjoy an even more reliable ride-hail experience with more taxi drivers on platform

2 November 2020 – Gojek Singapore today announced that all taxi drivers can sign up to drive with Gojek at GoHub, Gojek’s driver centre at Sin Ming. 


This follows the implementation of the new point-to-point regulatory framework on 30 October 2020, which states that all taxi drivers can now sign up to drive with any ride-hailing platform to provide flat-fare rides. 

As a result, Gojek customers will enjoy a more reliable ride-hailing experience by virtue of an enlarged supply pool, which means higher availability of drivers and shorter waiting times.


Taxi drivers who join Gojek will enjoy an additional source of earnings by completing trips booked via the Gojek app, while they continue to be able to take on street-hail jobs. 


They can also access a myriad of benefits, including commission rebates, daily and weekly incentives, and perks as part of GoalBetter, Gojek’s driver benefits programme. Perks include prolonged medical leave insurance (the most extensive in Singapore), subsidised medical consultation, and fuel rebates.


Gojek Singapore is offering sign-up bonuses to the first 2,500 taxi drivers who sign up between 10 November and 31 December. Drivers can find more information here or book an appointment for onboarding through this online form.


This builds on Gojek’s partnership with Trans-Cab Services, Singapore’s second-largest taxi company. Inked last year, the partnership has enabled thousands of Trans-Cab taxi drivers to access bookings made via the Gojek platform and enjoy multiple benefits under GoalBetter.
