Here at Gojek, your safety and security remains our top priority. Sometimes the unexpected happens – and if they do, we want you to have peace of mind, knowing you’re well protected when on the road. 


As such, we’ve partnered up with Marsh and AIG to provide free accident coverage that covers you for every trip you take with Gojek from 23 November 2020.


What benefits will I get?

Powered by Marsh and underwritten by AIG


This will be provided if the passenger gets into an accident during the trip and sustains an injury that requires medical treatment. Coverage includes necessary medical expenses incurred.

You will receive a lump sum of up to S$15,000 if you get into an accident whilst on a trip that results in permanent disability or accidental death.

  • You

A customer who has booked and rode in a GoCar ride with a Gojek account

  • Fellow passengers
  • Your Gojek driver-partner

Anyone else riding along with you, regardless of whether they have a Gojek account

How do I opt in for the free accident coverage?

You don’t have to opt in at all – as long as you book a trip with Gojek, you are automatically protected.


How do I make a claim?

You can initiate a claim by sending an email to Claims.SGGojek@marsh.com, indicating that you were on a trip with Gojek at time of accident. You will be provided with a claim form to collect more information.


Prepare the following bits of information and proof/documentation:

  • GoCar order number (as seen in Order history on your app)
  • Time and date of pick-up and drop-off
  • Names of driver and passengers
  • Vehicle licence plate number
  • Police report of accident
  • Medical report
  • Any other relevant information

Complete and email the claim form (provided by Marsh) along with other claim documents to Claims.SGGojek@marsh.com.


When do I make the claim?

Claims should be made no later than 30 days after the incident.

This policy is protected under the Policy Owners' Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for your policy is automatic and no further action is required from you.
