Red Panther Barber Stylist

Where: Upper Serangoon Shopping Centre

This old-school barber has walls filled with vintage memorabilia and movie posters, some of which come from loyal customers since 1982. It’s good, it’s extremely wallet-friendly, and the barbers are great conversationalists – as uncles usually are.

This isn’t the most stylish or quirkiest of joints, but it’s an obvious choice, and for good reason. At $12 for a 10-minute haircut, if all you’re looking for is a trim, you really don’t have much to lose here. Except your hair.
