Gojek recommends: things to do in February 2025
31 Jan 2025

Got date nights to plan? Kids to entertain for the weekend? New in-laws to impress after Chinese New Year? The year’s just started but Singapore’s ramping up with lots for you and your loved ones to do this February – and Gojek’s gathered the top picks down below.

Psst… when you’re ready to get there, just call for a GoCar ride.

Head to Minion Land

Where: Universal Studios Singapore

Valentine’s Day also marks the opening of Universal Studios Singapore’s long-awaited corner dedicated to the Minions. Visit Gru’s super villain lab, party with Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, and buy plush toys so fluffy you’re gonna die.

Watch the Chingay Parade@2x.png

Watch the Chingay Parade

Where: F1 Pit Building

When: 7–8 February

Celebrate an extra special Chingay Parade as Singapore turns 60. This one’s all about food and all the joy it brings. Expect little local tidbits made giant, well-loved dishes transformed into floats, as well as performances unveiled on a brand-new, majestic 4-storey stage.

Visit Lamp Post 1@2x.png

Visit Lamp Post 1

Where: 999 Tuas S Blvd

This is the only lamp post in Singapore where vandalism is legal, and it is plastered with bright stickers all the way to the top. Lamp Post 1 looks the way it does because it’s served as a milestone for cyclists for a little over a decade now. Many who have reached that point in Tuas will mark their successful pilgrimage with a quirky sticker or two.

Shop at Glamorous Giving@2x.png

Shop at Glamorous Giving

Where: SCAPE, The Ground Theatre

When: 12–13 February

Shop pieces from indie Singapore brands like Sabrina Goh – with discounts of up to 70% on last-season items, samples, and seconds. Some proceeds will also go into supporting Fashion for Cancer and the National Cancer Centre Singapore, so you’re getting a good deal while doing a good deed.
