As a Gojek taxi driver, you will be allocated trip requests from both the newly launched GoTaxi (metered fares) service, as well as the existing GoCar (flat fares) service. This means that you’ll have even more opportunities to receive trip requests and thus more earnings in less time on our platform.




Only 10% service fees so you'll earn more immediately on every GoCar trip.


Since 21 June, we've reduced the service fees for all GoCar trips from 20% to 10%. This means that you no longer have to pay 10% service fees upfront and wait for the weekly rebate on Tuesday - all earnings go to your Wallet immediately after every completed trip! 


$3 flat fee for far pickups to reward you for your extra efforts (GoCar trips only)


Had to travel 3km or more to reach the pickup point? You'll receive a flat fee of $3 to reward you for your extra efforts (GoCar trips only). Weekly payouts will be made to your Earnings Wallet on the following Tuesday, 1PM.

Up to $100 in daily peak hour boosters


With a minimum daily performance of 80%, you'll be able to make your earnings even sweeter, with up to $100 in peak hour boosters.


Note: The peak hour bonus points table refers to GoCar trips. For GoTaxi trips, you will receive 1 base point for every trip and will not be eligible for the extra peak hour points.

How does this work?

Hit the minimum points targets for the tier and achieve a minimum 80% daily performance requirement to receive the peak hour booster. 


Payouts will be made to your Earnings Wallet within one hour of achieving each tier.

NOTE: You will be able to see the points details in the points screen in your Driver app based on the trip fare (inclusive of platform fees, multi-destination fees, and service fees).


Monthly safety net


During these uncertain times, we want to help you to drive with a peace of mind without worrying about fares


If you’ve completed the minimum number of trips and your total monthly earnings are less than the minimum amounts below, we’ll top up the difference



Do note that this top-up is subject to the 10% service fees.


Meet the following requirements to qualify:

  • Monthly trip targets by GoalBetter tier (min 400 trips) 
  • Average monthly performance of 80%
  • Only Premium (GoFleet only), Pro, and Elite GoalBetter driver-partners qualify. Find out how to upgrade your tiers here: gjk.sg/goalbetter

The difference to be topped up will be based on your total earnings (subject to 10% service fees), which are inclusive of gross trip fares, daily peak hour earnings boosters, far pick-up incentives, and any additional incentives and fees such as cancellation fees, multi-destination fees and Edit Destination fees.


Payouts will be made to your Earnings Wallet on the 1st Tuesday of the following month, 1PM. When the prior month ends on a Monday, payout will be made on the 1st Wednesday of the following month instead.


Do note that only GoCar trips will count towards the trips requirement for the monthly safety net.

Q: What are the requirements to join as a taxi driver-partner on Gojek?

  • Singaporean
  • Currently registered with taxi company as a driver
  • Have a valid TDVL

Q: Which taxi companies do you accept?

A: We welcome all ComfortDelgro, CityCab, Trans-Cab, SMRT, Premier, Prime and HDTT taxis.


Q: What documents will I need to bring for onboarding?

A: Please prepare all the documents here to get your account activated:

  • NRIC (front and back)
  • Driver's licence (front and back)
  • Valid TDVL (front)
  • Photo of MDT showing your name and vehicle plate number (taken in the last 7 days)

Q: What phone models and versions do I require?

A: Currently Gojek only supports Android phones, with Android version 5 and above. For optimal performance, we recommend devices which support Android version 6.0 or above, 2GB RAM, more than 16GB of storage and the latest security updates from Google.


Q: I cannot download the GoPartner app on my new Huawei phone. Why?

A: Due to government restrictions in the US, newly released Huawei phones after 16 May 2019 will not be able to utilize Google’s apps and services. 


As Gojek’s driver app uses Google services such as Google Maps, new Huawei phones that don’t have Google services, specifically the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, Mate 30 series, Mate Xs and Honor 30 series, will not be able to support the new GoPartner app. We apologize for the inconvenience and will explore solutions on how to work around this restriction.

Getting support


Q: Where can I get help?

A: Book an appointment via gjk.sg/gohubappt and visit our in-person support centre at 38 Sin Ming Lane, Mon–Fri: 10AM–6PM 


If you already have an active account, you can submit a ticket via our Help Centre. Alternatively, you can write in to drivercare.sg@gojek.com.


Q: How do I update or add a new vehicle?

A: You will be able to edit your vehicle details directly using the driver app.

  • Tap on your profile picture
  • Click on ‘Settings’, then the ‘Edit Vehicle’ function
  • Select ‘Add Vehicle’ and fill the fields accordingly

Simply submit the necessary documents and await your confirmation – we’ll let you know of the outcome via the Driver app within 2 hours.

On-trip help


Q: Help! A customer has left something in my car.

A: With our new chat feature, you’ll be able to reach out to the customer directly to arrange for the item to be returned. You can communicate with your customer for up to 2 hours after the trip is completed, and exchange contact details if you require more time to return the item. The chat history will be available for 24 hours from the trip completion. More details: gjk.sg/directchat


You may also return the lost item(s) to GoHub at 38 Sin Ming Lane, Mon–Fri: 10AM–6PM.

Q: My customer changed their mind and wants to change their drop-off point.

A: If your customer wants to change their destination, please advise them to do so on their Gojek app. Once done, it will be reflected on your Gojek Driver app. Your route and fare will be updated automatically. 


Q: Can customers add multiple stops to their booking?

A: Yes, customers can add up to 2 additional stops before completing the trip at the final location (Total 3 stops). More details on Gojek’s multi-destination feature here.


Q: Does Gojek have cancellation fees?

A: Yes. A $4 cancellation fee will be given to you when your customer cancels:

  • After 5 minutes from when you’ve been matched to them
  • As soon as you arrive at your customer’s pick-up location.

Q: Do I have to do anything when on a Gojek trip? 

A: Once you accept a Gojek job, you will need to change your status to ‘Busy’. Upon pick-up, you’ll have to change your status to ‘Hired’.


Q: Why can’t I receive Gojek trips from the Airport?

A: Changi Airport only allows taxis to accept conventional trips from the taxi line. Should you wish to pick up passengers from the airport, you’ll need to turn off the Gojek app and join the taxi stands in the Arrival areas of each terminal.


GoTaxi vs GoCar


Q: Are there different incentives for GoTaxi trips? What incentives am I eligible for as a taxi driver?

A: 

GoTaxi

  • For GoTaxi trips, the service fee of S$0.60 per trip is waived until 8 August 2021.
  • GoTaxi trips are automatically eligible for the flat fee of $3 for far pickups of 3km or more. 
  • You will receive 1 base point for every GoTaxi trip regardless of the timing of the trip. There are no other GoTaxi-specific incentives for GoTaxi trips.

GoCar

  • With the reduction in service fees for all trips from 20% to 10%, you no longer have to pay 10% service fees upfront and wait for the weekly rebate on Tuesday - all earnings go to your Wallet immediately after every completed trip! There is no need to wait for a separate payout.
  • GoCar trips are automatically eligible for the flat fee of $3 for far pickups of 3km or more.
  • You will receive 1 base point for every GoCar trip and will be eligible for extra peak hour points.
  • Only GoCar trips will count towards the trips requirement for the monthly safety net.
