We’ve been on a continuous journey to improve your driving experience and provide you with stable and sustainable earnings. Through your feedback, we know that many drivers prefer greater flexibility on when to drive and the freedom to choose trips to complete.
That is why from 14 Aug 2023, you can expect updates on the daily incentives (points scheme trial for all drivers), as well as adjustments on Monthly Loyalty Rewards and far pickup incentives.
Additionally, performance requirements will be waived in Aug 2023 for the following:

Why completion rate and not performance requirement?

1. Daily Points Incentives (Full day)
As a trial from 14 Aug - 8 Oct (extended), all driver-partners get to earn points throughout the day based on the distance (km) of each trip as calculated in the GoPartner app, and choose trips to complete* based on your preference. You will not be penalized for rejecting or ignoring trips.
* We understand that you might be concerned about meeting the 80% monthly average performance for the Monthly Loyalty Rewards if you choose trips to complete to qualify for the daily incentives. Not to worry - to ensure your qualification for the Aug Monthly Loyalty Rewards is not affected due to rejecting/ignoring trips, we will be waiving the performance requirements. That means you only need to hit the 500 trip criteria in Aug to enjoy the Monthly Loyalty Rewards.

2. Monthly Loyalty Rewards adjustment

Performance requirement is waived for Aug 2023 to qualify for the existing Monthly Loyalty Rewards scheme. That means you only need to complete 500 trips in Aug to enjoy the Monthly Loyalty Rewards.
From 1 Sep 2023 onwards
We’ve added extra trip targets to give drivers across GoalBetter tiers an opportunity to aim for higher rewards, effective 1 Sep 2023.

3. Far pickup incentive revision
From 14 Aug, the far pickup incentive will be increased to $4 (previously $3) for pickups above 4km (previously 3km) to better compensate drivers for accepting trips that are further away.

🔹Autobid must be switched on
The $4 far pick-up incentive will be reflected in your Earnings Wallet together with the trip fares.
In addition, you should also be able to see this under the Incentives section of your weekly earnings statement.
Why did we make this change?
4. GoalBetter tier qualification/requalification
From 1 Sep 2023, only your (1) Trip count and (2) Rating for the past 3 consecutive months will be considered as part of the qualification or requalification criteria*.
*Subject to change at Gojek’s discretion.

Driver Fee extension till 30 Jun 2024
We have also extended our Driver Fee till 30 Jun 2024, a fee of $0.50-$0.80/trip paid for by customers to drivers to support you with rising operational costs.

To ensure that you are fairly compensated for your time, we have increased the trip start fares and minimum fares for GoCar XL, GoCar Premium and GoCar Kids since 3 Jul 2023.

Shorter pickups
We’ve made improvements to your GoCar Premium experience based on your feedback! GoCar Premium drivers can now enjoy shorter pickups and more orders.
Daily points incentives
Q: Is there a performance requirement to qualify for the daily incentives? What do I need to do to be eligible?
A: No. There is no acceptance rate requirement - only a 90% completion rate. That means you can choose trips to complete based on your preference and not be penalised for rejecting or ignoring trips.
Q: How is completion rate calculated?
A: Completion rate = Total orders completed / Total orders accepted (excluding orders cancelled with cancellation quota and orders cancelled by customers).
Q: How does 90% completion rate provide more flexibility over 80% performance requirement?
A: With completion rate, you will have more flexibility to choose the trips you wish to accept.
Example: Mr Lee is at Orchard and he plans to complete one last trip before heading to his home in the East of Singapore. He receives an order for a trip from Orchard to Clementi but he can reject it and still be eligible for daily incentives as long as his overall completion rate is 90% for the day.
Q: When will I receive the daily bonus if I am eligible?
A: You will receive the payout to your Earnings Wallet within an hour of hitting the respective points tier and meeting the 90% completion rate requirement.
Q: Will there be service fees on the daily incentive payout?
A: No, there are no additional service fees on the payouts.
Q: How are the points/distance calculated?
A: Points are based on the distance calculated between the pick-up point and the destination within the Gojek system and are final.
Q: Will all trips be eligible for the daily incentives?
A: All GoCar, GoCar XL, GoCar Kids, GoCar XL Kids, and GoCar Premium trips are eligible for the daily incentives. However, GoTaxi trips will NOT qualify for the points incentives.
Q: Will I be able to see the incentive schemes in the GoPartner app?
A: You will be able to see the incentive scheme details under Earnings > Incentive tab within the GoPartner app. Click on Points scheme for details on how to earn points.
Monthly Loyalty Rewards
Q: Will rejecting or ignoring trips affect my eligibility for the Monthly Loyalty Rewards?
A: No, performance requirement is waived for Aug 2023. You will still need to meet the 500 trip criteria to enjoy the respective service fees according to your GoalBetter tier.
Q: Who is eligible for the enhanced Monthly Loyalty Rewards?
A: All driver-partners continue to be eligible as long as they’ve hit the trip targets.
Q: What is the start and end period of the trips requirement for the Monthly Loyalty Rewards?
A: Trips from the 1st day of the month, 12AM, to the last day of the month, 11:59PM, will be taken into consideration to determine your Monthly Loyalty Rewards.
Q: When will I receive the payouts for the Monthly Loyalty Rewards?
A: You will continue to receive your Monthly Loyalty Rewards via service fee rebates, paid out monthly to your Earnings Wallet on the 1st of the following month at 1AM.
Q: Will GoTaxi trips be counted toward my Monthly Loyalty Rewards?
A: Yes, GoTaxi trips will continue to be counted towards Monthly Loyalty Rewards, but will not qualify for any points under the daily points incentive.
Far pickup incentives
Q: Is the $3 incentive for above 3km pickups still valid?
A: No. It will be replaced with a higher bonus of $4 with a higher distance requirement of 4km from 14 Aug 2023 to better reward drivers for accepting orders that are further away.
Note that driver-partners must switch on auto-bid to qualify for far pick-up incentives. Driver-partners on manual bid will not be eligible for far pick-up incentives.
Q: Who pays for the far pickup incentives?
A: The far pickup incentives will be paid by Gojek to driver-partners. This incentive is separate from your trip fare, so please do not collect this amount from the customer.
Q: Is the far pickup incentive service fee deductible?
A: No, this incentive is not subject to 15% service fees.
Q: How is the pickup distance determined for this incentive?
A: The incentive will be calculated based on the pickup routing distance determined by the Gojek GoPartner app.
For back-to-back orders, the pickup distance will be calculated from the drop-off point of the first trip to the pick-up point of the second trip.
You will only get the incentive if the pick up distance is above 4km and you have switched on autobid.
Q: When will I receive the far pick-up incentives?
A: You will be able to receive immediate payouts of the $4 far pickup incentive upon completing the trip.
Q: Who is eligible for the far pickup incentives?
A: All driver-partners who switch on autobid and complete trips (GoCar, GoCar XL, GoCar Kids, GoCar XL Kids, and GoCar Premium trips) are automatically eligible as long as the pickup distance is more than 4km and the order is completed. GoTaxi trips are not eligible for the far pickup incentives.
Q: How would I know whether I’ve received the far pick-up incentives?
A: The far pickup incentives will be reflected in your Gojek Earnings Wallet upon payment with the description ‘Far pickup incentive’. In addition, you should be able to see this under the Incentives section of your weekly earnings statement.
