The past few months have seen a sharp rise in fuel costs resulting from the dynamic global situation.
We’ve been listening to you, and have been actively exploring ways to help address your concerns. As such, we have introduced both a driver fee as well as higher trip start fares to help with the rising fuel costs, along with adjustments to the daily and monthly incentives to sustainably improve your overall earnings.
Together with the service fees that remain unchanged at 10%, we hope that you enjoy higher upfront take home earnings per trip, with less dependence on incentives.

With fuel prices rising over the past few months, we have implemented a temporary driver fee to help you offset the costs, extended until 31 Dec 2022, with 100% of the amount going directly to driver-partners, paid for by passengers.
We are striving to help you bring home more earnings by increasing the trip start fares. Do note that the final trip fees are subject to real-time demand and supply conditions on the road.
✔️ Take home more earnings instantly with just 10% service fees for all trips
Gojek’s service fees continue to remain unchanged at 10% for every trip – a commitment we’ve made since 2021.
For every GoCar, GoCar XL, or GoCar Premium trip, you continue to take home more earnings on every trip with low service fees.
With the new monthly loyalty rewards, loyal driver-partners can drive with even lower effective service fees as low as just 6.5%.
🔹 All driver-partners are eligible for the lower service fees regardless of their GoalBetter tier.
🔹 For Gojek taxi drivers, the service fee of $0.60 for GoTaxi trips will continue to apply.
✔️ Turn every minute on the road to cash
Enjoy a $3 flat fee for far pick-ups of 3km or more to better reward you for your extra efforts.
🔹 There are no performance requirements.
🔹 From 5 Dec, 1AM, driver-partners must switch on auto-bid to qualify for far pick-up incentives. Driver-partners on manual bid will not be eligible for far pick-up incentives.
🔹 All driver-partners are eligible for the $3 flat fee for far pick-ups.
🔹 Only GoCar, GoCar Premium, and GoCar XL trips are eligible for the $3 flat fee for far pick-ups.
Driver-partners will be able to receive immediate payouts of the $3 far pick-up incentive upon completing the trip.
The $3 far pick-up incentive will be reflected in your Earnings Wallet together with the trip fares.
In addition, you should also be able to see this under the Incentives section of your weekly earnings statement.
How to check your far pick-up incentives

1. Check while you're on the way to the pickup point under the pick-up screen
You can see this far pick-up incentive while you’re on the way to the pick-up point and destination.
This will be shown regardless of payment method (cash or credit/debit card).
2. Check under Far Pick-up Incentives on Payment Details Screen
You will also be able to view the far pick-up incentive on the Payment Details Screen after completing the trip.

The $3 far pick-up incentive will automatically be credited to your Earnings Wallet as part of your Earnings from the trip, regardless of the customer’s payment method.
3. Check under Bonus on your Earnings page
You can also see your total far pick-up incentive, together with other incentives, reflected under the Bonus section.

Mr Wong is currently on a trip to fetch a customer from Vivocity to Clarke Quay Central. Halfway through the trip as he’s driving by Guoco Tower at Tanjong Pagar, he receives and accepts a booking request for a trip from Plaza Singapura to ION Orchard.
Current trip: Vivocity to Clarke Quay Central
Next trip: Plaza Singapura to ION Orchard
The pick-up distance will be calculated from the first drop-off point of Clarke Quay Central to the second customer’s pick-up point of Plaza Singapura (2.0km) instead.
He will not receive a $3 payout as the second trip will not be considered a far pick-up.
✔️ Drive during the peak hours for up to $120 extra in daily incentives
Aim for up to $120 in daily peak hour boosters to make your earnings even sweeter.
Payouts will be made to your Earnings Wallet within one hour of achieving each tier.
🔹 Minimum daily performance of 80% is required to receive the peak hour booster.
🔹 The peak hour booster is available every day.
🔹 All driver-partners are eligible for the peak hour booster.
With feedback from driver-partners since announcing the revised daily incentives, along with the changing demand patterns with the further relaxation of Singapore’s COVID-19 measures, we’ve made the following improvements:
NEW: GoCar XL and GoCar Premium trips will now receive 2 base points per trip.
Receive bonus points when you drive during the peak hours below.
NEW: Weekday morning peak hours have been extended to 6AM to 9:59AM, based on your feedback.
Receive your daily bonus within an hour of hitting the tiers. Earn up to $4/trip EXTRA with our daily incentives from 1 Aug.
Aim for the highest tiers for up to $120 in daily bonuses on Fridays to Sundays when demand is highest! Minimum 80% performance required.
✔️ Rewarding your loyalty with monthly loyalty rewards
Drive with lower effective service fees with monthly loyalty rewards!
To qualify for the loyalty rewards, all you need to do is:
✔️ Complete a minimum of 500 trips each month
✔️ Maintain a performance rating of at least 80%
With up to 35% monthly service fee rebates, that means that Elite GoFleet driver-partners can drive with effective service fees of just 6.5% on all trips!
Payouts will be made to your Earnings Wallet on the 1st Tuesday of the following month, 1PM. When the prior month ends on a Monday, payout will be made on the 1st Wednesday of the following month instead.
Driver fees
Q: When will the new driver fees take effect?
A: The temporary driver fees will apply to all trips, excluding GoTaxi, from 31 March 2022, 1AM. As fuel prices remain high, we will extend the driver fees until 31 December 2022, to continue supporting our driver-partners.
Q: Which service types will the driver fees be applicable for?
A: The driver fees will be applied to all GoCar, GoCar Premium and GoCar XL rides, with the exception of GoTaxi, as fares are subject to the taxi’s meter.
Q: If customers edit their destination, will the driver fees be based on the initial estimated distance or actual distance traveled?
A: The new recalculated distance will be used to determine the driver fees.
Q: How will the driver fees be calculated for multi-destination trips?
A: If the customer adds a destination, the driver fee is determined by the total distance traveled.
Q: Are driver fees incrementally applied?
A: No. The driver fee is determined based on the final trip distance. For short trips less than 10km, a flat-fee of $0.50 will be applied. Long trips of 10km and above will be subject to a $0.80 flat-fee.
Q: Will the driver need to manually add the additional driver fees after the trip is completed?
A: No, it will automatically be added to the fare.
Q: How can I check / see how much was charged?
A: Drivers will be able to view the driver fee amount in their Payment Details screen after the trip is completed.
Q: Is the driver fee taxable?
A: Yes, driver fees will be treated as taxable income.
Higher trip start fares
Q: How will the additional trip start fare be reflected? Will there be a separate component?
A: No, there will not be a separate component. The higher trip start fares will be reflected as part of the overall Gojek fare. Do note that final fares are subject to the real-time demand and supply conditions on the road.
Q: When will the updated trip start fares take effect?
A: The higher trip start fares will be implemented together with the driver fees on 31 March, 1AM.
10% service fees
Q: Does the 10% service fee apply to all charges?
A: The 10% service fee applies to the gross trip fare, excluding ERP and platform fee.
Q: What are the service fees for GoTaxi trips?
A: The service fee for GoTaxi trips is $0.60.
Far pick-up incentives
Q: Who pays for the far pick-up incentives?
A: The far pick-up incentives will be paid by Gojek to driver-partners. This incentive is separate from your trip fare, so please do not collect this amount from the customer.
Q: Is the far pick-up incentive service fee deductible?
A: No, this incentive is not subject to 10% service fees.
Q: How is the pick-up distance determined for this incentive?
A: The incentive will be calculated based on the pick-up routing distance determined by the Gojek GoPartner app.
For back-to-back orders, pick-up distance is calculated based on the driver’s location at the time of receiving the booking request.
You will only get the incentive if the pick up distance is above 3km and you have switched on auto-bid (from 21 Nov onwards).
Q: When will I receive the far pick-up incentives?
A: You will be able to receive immediate payouts of the $3 far pick-up incentive upon completing the trip.
Q: Who is eligible for the far pick-up incentives?
A: All driver-partners who complete GoCar trips are automatically eligible as long as the pick-up distance is more than 3km and the order is completed. GoTaxi trips are not eligible for the far pick-up incentives. From 21 Nov, driver-partners must switch on auto-bid to qualify for far pick-up incentives. Driver-partners on manual bid will not be eligible for far pick-up incentives.
Q: How would I know whether I’ve received the far pick-up incentives?
A: The far pick-up incentives will be reflected in your Gojek Earnings Wallet upon payment with the description ‘Far pick-up incentive’. In addition, you should also be able to see this under the Incentives section of your weekly earnings statement.
Daily incentives
Q: When will I receive the daily bonus if I am eligible?
A: You will receive the payout to your Earnings Wallet within an hour of hitting the respective points tier and meeting the performance requirement.
Q: Will there be service fees on the daily bonus incentive payout?
A: No, there are no additional service fees on the payouts.
Q: Is there a performance requirement to qualify for the daily incentives?
A: Yes, you will need to meet the performance requirement of 80% in order to be eligible for the payout.
Q: Will all trips be eligible for the daily incentives?
A: Yes, all GoCar, GoCar XL, and GoCar Premium trips are eligible for the daily incentives. However, do note that GoTaxi trips will only be awarded 1 base point regardless of trip timing and will not qualify for peak hour bonus points.
Q: Will I be able to see the incentive schemes in the GoPartner app?
A: You will be able to see the incentive scheme details on the Incentive tab within the GoPartner app.
Monthly loyalty rewards
Q: When will the monthly loyalty rewards be effective?
A: Effective 1 July 2022, 1AM for the Q3 GoalBetter cycle.
Q: Who is eligible for the monthly loyalty rewards?
A: From 1 Nov - 31 Dec 2022, all driver-partners will be eligible for the monthly loyalty rewards, based on their GoalBetter tier.
Your GoalBetter tier will be refreshed on a quarterly basis.

Q: What is the start and end period of the trips requirement for the monthly loyalty rewards?
A: Earnings from the 1st day of the month, 1AM, to the 1st day of the following month, 12:59AM, will be taken into consideration to determine your monthly loyalty rewards.
Q: When will I receive the monthly loyalty rewards?
A: Payouts will be made to your Earnings Wallet on the 1st Tuesday of the following month, 1PM. When the prior month ends on a Monday, payout will be made on the 1st Wednesday of the following month instead.
Q: Is there a performance requirement for the monthly loyalty rewards?
A: For the monthly loyalty rewards, you will need to meet an average monthly performance requirement of 80%.
Q: How are the monthly loyalty rewards calculated?
A: The monthly performance requirement is 80%. This means that for the entire calendar month, you should have completed at least 80% of the total orders received, in order to qualify for the monthly performance requirement.
Your performance is calculated as: total trips completed / (total trips received - total passenger-cancelled trips).
