COVID-19 Preventive Measures
On 24 March 2022, the easing of community Safe Management Measures (SMMs) with effect from 29 March 2022 was announced.
From 29 March,
- Group sizes:
- The permissible group size for social gatherings will be increased from 5 persons to 10 persons for mask-off activities.
- Mask-wearing:
- Mask-wearing will continue to be required for indoor settings when people leave their homes, but will be optional in outdoor settings.
- Work-place requirements:
- Up to 75% of employees who are able to work from home can now return to the workplace, an increase from the current limit of 50%.
- Safe distancing:
- Safe distancing continues to be encouraged but will not be required between individuals or groups for mask-on settings.
- Capacity limits:
- The capacity limit of 50% for large events and settings of more than 1,000 pax will be increased to 75%.
As we transit to the new SMMs, please be reminded that:
- Mask-wearing is still required on taxis and private-hire cars.
- If your passengers are not wearing masks, please remind them to do so.
- Driver-partners will not be penalised for rejecting/cancelling trips when passengers refuse to wear masks after being reminded. You can cancel the trip within the app without impacting your performance by using your cancellation quota and selecting a valid reason. More info: gjk.sg/quota
⚠️ IMPORTANT: All driver-partners regardless of vaccination status must nominate Gojek on gjk.sg/syncnow to submit your latest vaccination status.

To minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission, please be reminded to:
- Increase ventilation by not using the recirculation mode of the vehicle’s air-conditioning system and winding down the windows in between trips.
- Wind down the vehicles’ windows when ferrying passengers with flu-like symptoms.
- Clean and disinfect your vehicle after the completion of every trip.
Do continue to observe the following preventive measures to keep yourself and your loved ones safe.
Thank you for keeping the nation on the move during this season.
