Gojek's budget friendly "Hemat" services aims to expand market reach and boost partner earnings.

In line with the national "Proud of Indonesian Products" initiative, the #PastiAdaJalan campaign is part of Gojek's commitment to drive national economic recovery.

Jakarta, 10 August 2023 - In line with the spirit of Indonesia's Independence Day celebrations, Gojek, the on-demand service platform from PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo Group, BEI: GOTO), invites everyone to celebrate #PastiAdaJalan, the Spirit of Indonesia. The initiative invites Indonesians to use Gojek, the proudly Indonesian solution provider, to make their daily lives easier with budget-friendly "Hemat" options available across Gojek's transportation and food delivery services.

Speaking from the historical Gedung Joang '45 museum, Catherine Hindra Sutjahyo, Gojek President, GoTo On-Demand Services Business Unit, said, "In celebration of Indonesia's 78th year of Independence, Gojek is launching its budget friendly 'Hemat' options especially for the people of Indonesia. These innovative solutions are a part of Gojek's strategy to reach a wider number of consumers while at the same time boosting revenues for their partners."

From a business perspective, Catherine shared that the budget friendly "Hemat" options embody the essence of #PastiAdaJalan and the Spirit of Indonesia, and will help expand Gojek's market share in Indonesia. In the first quarter of 2023, Gojek achieved robust growth in gross revenue, registering a year-over-year 12% increase.

The budget friendly Gojek "Hemat" options include GoFood "Mode Hemat", which gives users delivery fares ranging from Rp 3,000 to Rp 5,000 (based on the region) when they order from nearby restaurants. The "Hemat" option is independent of any discounts or promotions, and even includes a free delivery promotion every Wednesday.

Odo Manuhutu, Deputy for Tourism and Creative Economy at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Marves), commended Gojek as a local brand and a contributor to Indonesia.

"As a source of national pride, we believe that this campaign will help accelerate the wheels of national economic recovery, aligning perfectly with the spirit of the 'Proud of Indonesian Products' campaign. This campaign will undoubtedly have a positive impact for Gojek driver partners and SME partners. I encourage the Indonesian community and Gojek consumers to continue to prioritize Indonesian products, and maintain their champion status within the country."

As part of the #PastiAdaJalan, Spirit of Indonesia initiative, Gojek is hosting a lucky draw from August 7 to October 1, 2023. Every transaction using GoFood, GoRide, GoCar, GoSend, or GoMart, gives users a lucky draw ticket eligible to win an array of exceptional prizes. The more transactions a user makes, the higher the likelihood they have of winning the grand prize, a 2023 Toyota Innova Zenix G Hybrid CVT, along with many other exciting rewards. As part of Indonesia's 78th Independence Day celebrations on the 17th of Agustus 2023, Gojek will announce the winners of the #PastiAdaJalan video competition. The video competition, which ran from July 24 to August 6, succeeded in attracting thousands of entries from driver partners, merchant partners, and seller partners who shared their stories on how their partnerships with Gojek enabled them to not only reliably support themselves but also their families, and their communities. Hundreds of Gojek partner winners will receive prizes which include a motorbike, cash, and the latest gadgets.
