Gorontalo

Gojek has taken these actions to comply with Gorontalo Gubernatorial Decreet No. No. 15/2020 on Large-Scale Social Restrictions (LSSR) to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Gorontalo are as such:

  1. Limit Three-wheel transportation (GoRide/Bentor) with a maximum 1 passenger in one vehicle

  3. Mandatory to wear a mask when travelling with GoCar and GoBluebird service.

Additionally, based on the LSSR regulations, social activities will be restricted, such as through limiting the use of private vehicles. Private vehicles that are used as mode of transportations must comply with several conditions, such as limiting the number of passengers to 50% of vehicle capacity, passengers must wear masks inside the vehicle and must be in good health.

Moreover, only selected workplaces are permitted to remain active, such as representative offices of foreign countries, international organisations, government institutions participating in handling COVID-19 and the fulfillment of society’s basic needs. Meanwhile, private sector institutions allowed to remain active are those in health, food and beverages, energy, communication and information technology, finance, logistics, construction and strategic industries only. More information regarding the PSBB regulations can be read here.

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers, driver partners and individuals at all levels of society are urged to avoid any social activities and #stayathome as much as possible in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic. However, if urgently required to travel, make sure you follow the advice and regulations above. If you do not comply, driver partners have the right to cancel your order.

We support your mobility if you are a part of individuals required to enforce LSSR. Therefore, we have upgraded several GoRide and GoCar Instant pick up points in several cities to be “COVID-19 Prevention Points”. We have equipped these prevention points with health and safety procedures, such as body temperature checks and the free distribution of hand sanitizer and masks for driver partners and passengers. Furthermore, physical distancing principle is also applied in queues with proper signage and trained staff. COVID-19 Prevention Points in Jakarta are only allowed to accommodate a maximum of 5 people at the same time. For more information, check: COVID-19 Prevention Points

Also, to ensure your safety and our driver partners’, please check the COVID-19 prevention guidelines during your trip with GoCar here.
