Smart Login (Quick Login)

You can now use fingerprint, face verification, or URL link to protect your account. To avoid the threat of irresponsible parties hijacking your Gojek account, we introduce you to smart login features. 

The Smart Login feature utilizes each user's identity or physiological characteristics, consisting of fingerprints to verify every login attempt to your Gojek account. It’s personalized and more secure. With just a single touch of your finger, you can access your Gojek account instantly. 

How to enable Smart Login (Quick Login) feature:

From the Gojek Home page:

  1. Open your Gojek app. 
  2. Click on your profile picture icon and go to user settings.
  3. Enable ‘Quick Login’ under the account section.
  4. You need to scan your face or fingerprint to confirm the changes in your settings.
  5. The Smart Login feature is enabled for you! You can do it from this page if you wish to disable it.
  6. Congratulations ~ Your Gojek account is more secure with the Quick login feature

Touch & Face ID

Transacting with GoPay has never been easier and secured with the touch and face ID features of #AmanBersamaGojek. The fingerprint and facial recognition are safety features that help to verify GoPay transactions without using users’ PIN numbers. Update your Gojek App to try out these features. Here’s how to activate your touch and face ID features: 

Touch ID (Android)

From GoPay page: 

  1. Click “Explore” on GoPay’s menu, then go to “Settings' '. Then, click touch ID (Android). 
  2. Activate touch ID. 
  3. Enter PIN.
  4. Allow touch ID activation (Android).
  5. Congratulations~ Your GoPay transaction is now secured. 

From the Transaction page: 

  1. After completing a transaction using GoPay, a touch ID notification will appear (Android). 
  2. Click “Allow” to activate the feature. 
  3. Congratulations - Your GoPay transaction is now secured with a touch ID.

Touch ID (iOS)

  1. Click “Setting” and go to “Touch ID & Passcode”. 
  2. Enter your password. 
  3. “Add touch ID” and follow the instructions. 
  4. On the “Settings” page, activate the touch ID for Gojek App. 
  5. Congratulations - Your GoPay transaction is now secured with a touch ID. 

Activate Touch/Face ID

Number Masking

As proof of Gojek’s commitment to secure your personal data, Gojek introduces the Phone Number Masking feature that will gradually become available for all customers on GoRide, GoCar, GoCar L, and GoFood services.

What is Phone Number Masking? 

The presence of a phone number masking in the Gojek application means that when you communicate with our driver-partner via telephone, both your number and the driver-partner will be hidden. You and your driver-partner will be shown a masked number instead, which means better privacy. 

How phone number masking works:

Before you try this new feature, don't forget to update your Gojek application to the latest version.

  1. Order the GoRide / GoCar / GoCar L / GoFood service via the Gojek application
  2. Use the mobile number registered in the application to call the driver-partner
  3. With this feature, your phone number will be automatically randomized, and your driver-partner could call your current mask number, which is only valid during the booking trip. 

After clicking the previous button, you will be directed to your driver-partner mask number. Therefore, your actual phone number and driver-partner will not be shown. Both of you will see a masked number instead (e.g.,+6221-XXX).

Share Trip

Your travel safety is our priority. When you’re on your next trip with GoRide or GoCar, try out the Share Trip feature, which you can access directly on the App. This feature allows you to share real-time trips with friends and family where they can follow your journey as you head towards your destination. 

The Share Trip feature provides share links information which you can share via SMS, Messenger, WhatsApp, LINE, etc.: 

  1. Pick up location and destination. 
  2. Drivers’ information (name, license plate, rating, and order number). 
  3. Trip status and estimated arrival time. 
  4. The route you are on. 

Access this feature using the Gojek Shield button on the page. 

How to use the Share Trip feature: 

  1. Open the order page on the App. 
  2. Order a GoRide/GoCar. 
  3. After getting a driver, click the Gojek Shield button on the page. 
  4. Click on Share Trip. 
  5. Share the link with friends or family. 
  6. Your friends and family would be able to track down your trip in real-time and follow along your journey to your destination.

Live Tracking

The Live Tracking feature lets you track your GoSend orders and deliveries in real-time. You can ensure a successful delivery without worrying about missing items through the Live Tracking feature. Below is how you can use the feature: 

How to Use the Live Tracking Feature: 

  1. Order GoSend where you will see your driver’s information. 
  2. You will see the status and the driver’s real-time location. 
  3. The recipient will be able to see the driver's real-time location.
