Driver bought me wrong item

If you received the wrong item or more/less than what you’ve ordered, we suggest you check your chat history with the driver first in the Order History page to make sure whether the driver has already informed you about the item you ordered.

If you have checked it and the driver didn’t tell you anything about the wrong item, please report it to us via Gojek Help page (under My Profile menu) by clicking the Contact us* button below. We’ll do our best to solve the issue.

You can also leave a review for the restaurant regarding this incident for their evaluation so they can be more careful in executing orders in the future. Click here to find out how.


  • You can still chat the driver up to 2 hours after your order is completed
  • After that you can no longer reply or chat driver, but you can still see the chat history for 24 hours
  • For your information, some restaurants are no longer providing plastic bags (e.g. McDonald's). So, you can add a shopping bag to your order, so your order will be easy to be carried out during the driver's trip to your location :)
